Our Story
The Bay Atelier was born from summers spent along the shores of Peconic Bay, on Long Island’s North Fork.
In 1967, my grandfather purchased a small beach bungalow in Jamesport, beginning a family tradition that continues to this day. Some of my most cherished childhood memories are of collecting jingle shells along the shoreline with my mother—little treasures from the water that always seemed too beautiful to leave behind. Today, I share that same tradition with my own two children.
Years later, my love for the North Fork found a new expression through art. What began as a creative outlet evolved into The Bay Atelier—a collection of one-of-a-kind coastal artwork featuring real seashells, individually hand-painted and thoughtfully arranged into original compositions.
Each piece draws inspiration from the colors, textures, and natural beauty of the North Fork—from the soft hues of a Southold sunset to the ever-changing blues and greens of Peconic Bay.
My hope is to create art that feels both elevated and personal, bringing a touch of coastal beauty into your home, wherever that may be.
Coastal art, reimagined.
